THE Garage Sale, Lyttelton

Picture

THE Garage Sale is run by Project Lyttelton and is a means by which local community groups can sell a variety of donated items and keep all the proceeds for their chosen cause.  The project can be booked and run by volunteers from any community group, so far (as of May 2012) this has included the Lyttelton Sea Scouts, the Community Garden, the Time bank, Lyttelton Community House, Volcano Radio, the eARThquake Art Therapy Initiative, The Lyttelton Petanque Club and Lyttelton Main School camp.  Donations gratefully received at the address below.

Items being sold vary hugely from week to week but can include clothing, bric-a-brac, kitchen items, bedding, small items of furniture, books, records etc.  You can read more about THE Garage Sale on their website.

Address: 54a Oxford Street, Lyttelton
